The new kid on the block

So I have been busy these past couple of days checking out and going crazy throwing orders at the new kid on the block. Ever since I closed Glamorise Brands down, I’ve found it hard to get my favourite brands from Sephora, now we all know that particular brands have their own online stores that you can get the makeup that you want from at the same price as sephora, however I can state from experience that customs will be a nightmare with the charges etc. Did you know that customs charges between 25% – 30% of the total of your package at the conversion rate? so why hassle with customs at all?

I have found the perfect business, who not only has the best brands in town, but who do your personal cosmetic shopping so you don’t have to. Ladies and gentlemen let me introduce to you the brand that everyone will soon be talking about (drum roll please)… Lady Luxe Couture.

We then took it upon ourselves to bring the public what we would want for ourselves as customers. Affordability, Great quality and reliable service.

Now any new importer of cosmetics here in South Africa needs to be inspected and investigated, not to say that they doing anything wrong but basically to check weather the products that they are selling are authentic or not. And so that is exactly what i looked into. This part is making me super excited to announce that not only can I personally confirm the authenticity of the products sold ( I had purchased some products from them and requested proof of purchase, along with another a gadget that needs to be registered, yes it was the real deal. I have also taken the liberty of contacting the owners of Lady Luxe and they have graciously answered my interview questions with absolute honesty.

Answer: Currently we restricted to nationwide courier within South Africa as we are still in the process of sourcing and affordable, reliable international service provider.

Question: What are your responsibilities as an importer?

Answer: Sourcing out excellent quality goods within the legal parameters set by our laws as well as having all this done timeously to ensure quick efficient service.

Question: What made you choose this industry?

Answer: Our love for beauty and makeup tired together with our passion for wanting to be independent women in a mans world. Also the want to bring beauty to the masses possible thanks to our affordable range.

Question: And lastly, if you had one piece of advice for someone that is thinking of starting a business, what would it be? And why?

Answer: Work hard, persevere and always fight as hard as you can. Nothing worth having comes easily. Also remember heart and brain can work together. You can do what you love and love what you do thereby never working a day in your life.
