If you follow me on Instagram you guys will know that I have recently started giving make up classes again. After my last business venture, which I like to call my successful failure I had been super reluctant to get back into the beauty game. I knew I had enough talent and passion to do what I loved but the fear of failure and negative feedback had be in an downward spiral loosing hope for my one true love… MAKE UP.
I plucked up the courage and contacted a couple cosmetic companies to sponsor my class, and low and be hold Kiki beauty SA agreed to be our official sponsor which blow my mind. Although sponsoring my event, I hadn’t tried any of Kiki Beauty products but read so many amazing reviews about it.
Kiki Beauty had sponsored their Plain setting spray and Lip balm for each of my students and yes one extra for me. Without hesitation, When I started my make up routine and instead of using my MAC Cosmetics Prep + prime in lavender I decided to give the Kiki Beauty Setting spray a try, the results… amazed me!!
So you must be wondering what is this Kiki beauty that I speak of? well… Kiki Beauty is an upcoming South African store specializing in makeup, skincare and body care products. All products are Paraben Free, Sulphate Free, Mineral Oil Free, Petrolatum Free and Cruelty free. They are also truly proudly South African! Holly, the founder of Kiki Beauty is the one of the kindest people I’ve had the honor or working with. She goes to every length to ensure that your experience with Kiki is a great one.
So here is my official review on the Setting spray.

Packaging and First impression:
The product is packaged in a slick shimmer black box that screams sophistication, And the product itself is a slick black spray bottle with a semi dome lid. At first I was a little worried at this product only looked good but didn’t work, you know like those over hyped brands out there that promise you the world only to leave you feeling vulnerable and exposed. But oh boy, was I wrong!!!
For as long as I can remember I have been using Translucent powder to Bake and set my make up, although owning the MAC Prep and Prime, I never really used it to set my make up. So naturally I gave the Kiki Beauty Setting Spray a good try and test. I first sprayed the setting spray over my daily moisturizer before I could use my primer, by doing this i feel that it not only re-freshened my skin, but also transformed my skin into smooth canvas. Once my make up was on and I had dusted on some translucent powder to my under eyes the real test was about to go down.
I sprayed the Setting spray all over my make up and fanned it down for 10 seconds, the results blew mind, so I decided to test it out against the famed MAC Prep and Prime and lets just say that in my eyes Kiki beauty Setting spray has won by a mile!

Price and Quality:
This Setting spray retails for an amazing price of R 240 and you can get it directly from the Kiki beauty online store (Click here). No more sliding foundation, no more excessively shiny make-up, the Make-Up Ready Setting Spray works and ensures maximum make-up setting and hold. Before foundation, after eyeshadow, to complete your look, the setting spray can be used at any time in your make-up routine. It can be sprayed on throughout the day to reset make-up, to refresh and revive the senses and to provide a layer of moisture and protection. If you have used this ground-breaking product once, you will not be able to go a day without it, don’t take my word for it try it out yourself!

Performance:
I had sprayed my whole face with KiKi’s Make-Up Ready Setting Spray before foundation, after foundation, on the shimmer on my make up brush, and to set my make up look. or after your make-up has been completed to set and hold make-up. I even spray on it onto my skin throughout the day and night to reset make-up and give it some moisturize, my make up held for approximately 12 and half hours, which is the longest that my make up has ever held. What I love most about the setting spray is that it can be sprayed onto make-up free skin and provide refreshment and hydration like no other.
Rating:
Now i know most of you out there, think that I don’t rate products fairly because of what I get out of them at times. But even though Kiki Beauty SA had sponsored my classes, it does not take away from the fact that these products are worth every single penny that you willing to spend. I am sure in years to come the effects of Kiki Beauty’s amazing products will sing praises from Celebrity Make Up artist and beauty lovers from around the world. That is why I am proud to e among the may Beauty Bloggers to rate the Kiki Beauty Setting Spray a solid 10 lipsticks out of 10
