The best Collab to hit the Make Up world

I could not believe my eyes when I received the email from Inglot South Africa saying that the Jlo x Inglot products were finally available in South Africa! I honestly could not contain my excited!!!! And clearly I still can’t!

The first thing I did was grab my Inglot pro card and head to the nearest Inglot to me, The Gateway Ingot. Once I managed to get my hands on the full collection from the store, I ran home to try it all out. I still can not believe that I’m reviewing this awesome collab! My family is probably tired of hearing me talk about the products and the collab and how HUGE this is to the makeup world! To me this is bigger than RiRi’s Fenty Beauty or even Kim KW’s K Beauty. I literally screamed with joy when I saw the collection at the store. My hands were shaking with all the excitement. Tears sprung to my eyes when I held the bronzer that the QUEEN of bronzers uses and created.

Jlo x Inglot didn’t just realise any kind of collection but a 70 piece make up collection that has everything you can imagine, from Bronzers to falsies to eye shadow palettes the works! With this collection you will go from plan old Jenny from the block (HELLO) to ready for your own Vegas residency (well, at least that’s what it felt like to me). To give beauty junkies and Jlo’s fans a better idea of the collection and how the products look, I am fortunate enough to have the FULL collection which cost me an arm and a leg (R14 165 to be exact) but hell it was worth every freaken penny I spent on this collection. Before I get into my full review if you guys want to get your hands on any of the products you can get it from Inglot’s stores Nationwide or in select Edgars stores (NB: call your local Edgars store to find out if they stock Inglot products). This make up line isn’t like other brands, you can literally get it from any store that stocks Inglot or even online, with so many places to access this collection you have no excuses to NOT get it.

Packaging:

While the many reviews that I read online say that the packaging isn’t very exciting and that they wished it had more, I must say I totally LOVE the packaging, it’s sleek and sophisticated. It is a sleek matte black box with gold font of Jlo’s name in full with Inglot in a smaller font just below the name, as well as the product name in gold. Giving this collab a rich finish. My favourite thing about this collab is that a fancy JL that is in graved into every product, from the lipsticks to the powders, it can be seen everywhere, making it and unmistakable JLO x Inglot product.

There are over 70 products in this collection which also can be used in the Inglot freedom palettes. Another favourite aspect of this collab is that you can pick and choose your shades, without buying ALL the products and sitting with shades that don’t suit your skin tone. I must admit that when ever I use ANY inglot product it automatically becomes my absolute favourite. But with the Jlo x Inglot Collab products, I find myself reaching for the bronzer in Golden sun more then any other product in the collection, the pigment and intensity of this bronzer adds some extra life to my make up.

So I my final verdict I must say that the Jlo x Inglot collection was worth every penny and worth waiting for, and I personally feel it was the best thing to ever enter the makeup world. My only advice to you is that if you want to get the products, is to choose only your shades, you can test out the products at the inglot stores to make sure that the shades suit you, and if you want to buy the eyeshadow palettes then I suggest that you select the shades that you don’t already gave because some shades will overlap with other brands shades. You can also select the different shades and put it in the Freedom palettes. I seriously love this collaboration and the products and to me its not that shocking that I would rate this collection a solid 10 lipsticks out of 10.
