Hi Guys, so it has been a hot minute since I wrote on my blog. It has been such a hectic couple of months, and I have been working on lots of amazing new things for Glamorise Brands Online Store that my blog had to take a backseat. So I am proud to make a come back on my blog with this super review.

So for those of you who don’t know, Jaclyn Hill is a Youtube guru with over 4,4 million subscribers and The company Morphe is a social media brand, that has a large social presents by teaming up with some of the largest beauty gurus who promote the company by offering their followers and subscribers with discount codes for the Morphe store. With this as a business plan, its no wonder that Morphe and Jaclyn Hill collabed and made this amazing Eyeshadow palette.
I have never been a huge fan on Jaclyn Hill, however when she announced the collaboration on her Youtube Channel, I was really intrigued and really wanted to try it. The Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette, which the youtube guru dubbed her “dream palette,” will serve as your new and complete eyeshadow wardrobe, one that you will yank out and use daily and nightly. There are so many colour choices. When the palette first launched, it sold out in minutes and I had missed it, but when they had the second launch I had finally managed to get a palette for myself. After swatching, playing around with make up looks I finally felt confident enough to write this blog.

The Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette contains 35 eyeshadows which features dark browns, sunset reds, oranges, pinks, highlight shades, neutrals, blues, greens, mattes, shimmers — everything really.
When I first got the palette I wanted to dive right in, you have so many options, since you can build eye looks with one shade, three shadess, eight shadess, or 10 shadess. You can use as many hues as you wish for smoky eyes, sunset eyes, cut creases, and more. The neutrals and accent shades are gorgeous and come in champagne, gold, peach, and pink, just to name a few.

I simply love the white and silver Packaging. The colour scheme is clean and gorgeous. That being said it’s also very messy. I feel that the white cardboard could easily get messed while swatching, testing out the shades as well as even just taping your brushes on it. I’ve sort off managed not to mess it up just yet. There is no mirror on the interior of the packaging, but a note from Jaclyn to her fans dedicating the palette to them. While I find myself comparing the Jaclyn Hill palette packaging to Morphes usual Black packaging, I feel that since it had taken Jaclyn and Morphe 2years to create the amazing formulas of the shadows, that they could have spent abit more time in creating better packaging.

I was abit disappointed that my palette didn’t come with the insert listing the shade names. Apparently some did and some didn’t. But its no big deal that my palette didn’t have the list inserted, we can always just google it or visit the Morphe online store and check it out there. So that is not even a deciding factor for me. But for those of you you didn’t get the insert, maybe the below image will help.

Like with all the eyeshadow palettes that I own, before purchasing I always follow 3 major rules that I feel extremely important as most of the palettes these days cost an arm and a leg, and sometimes even a kidney.
How many looks I can create with this palette– my number must be above 10 looks, anything less, the I’m not interested.
The texture of the shadows– is it easy to work with? Is it easy to blend?
And finally is the pigment enough?
With The Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette I found myself creating looks I never thought I would create before, which brought back my artistic flair, I must say I’ve desperately missed the creative side of myself as my go to looks has been a natural eye look and bold lip.

Oh my goodness I love the shadows in this palette. If I were to dream up my own palette… this would be it. I’m honestly telling you, it’s that good.
Like I said this palette includes 35 brand new Morphe shadows that have never been used in a palette before. You can really see Jaclyn worked so hard on this, she didn’t just slap her name on it saying she did a collab with Morphe, she put in 2 years of really hard work, going back and forth to the lab and dreaming up every shade, texture, finish and naming every shade for personal reasons and stories in her life. She should be so proud of the work she put into this. Because that’s just how good this palette is.

The pigment in this palette is life!!!! Dead serious, At first I was worried I would be disappointed but OH! LORD this palette is so pigmented and amazing that just a dab with your finger transfers a high amount of pigment. At this point, I can honestly say that my 3rd box is checked, which makes the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette my ultimate palette.
What I love most about this palette is not only did the shadows swatch well, it transferred from the brush to the eye superbly, the consistence with the product transfer is great, making it easy to build and blend – fool proof really.
My final thoughts on this palettes is…
It is a must have for every make up junkie, although it is more pricey then the average Morphe palette, I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed at all and it will be money well spent. I wouldn’t normally do this but I give the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette a solid 10 lipsticks out of 10

Tell me what you guys think about the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette, I would love to hear from you guys.
Until next time
Xoxo
